Thanks for the history of us. But I have nothing to do with my past. I cant edit it. Whatever is with me in present Im happy with it. ABC is raising finger against UNHCR and IOM but I found the same what we were said in the meeting(by UNHCR) before starting process of 3rd country settlement. We were given two alternatives at that time Dream (Bhutan) and Invitation (3rd C S). I after coming here found that the Invitation given to us was the Gift that only few people get who are very LUCKY. UNHCR dont take send people to different country from same family but that happened due to the EGO of our Bhutanese bro n sis. Let me give the example… There used to be 7 members in family and used to be 8 doors in a small hut. there used to be fight among members in every alternate days and when they start the process they wanna be free from eachother so they selected different country it is not the mistake of UNHCR or IOM… UNHCR everytime wants to unite the family…. I dont wanna go Bhutan on any cost being citizen there and I hope non of the resettled Bhutanese wants that… Self nominated Leaders are showing disadvantages of 3rd country settlement only coz their earning source is going to be CLOSED permanantly…. I suggest every well wisher of Bhutanese refugee to listen what we (resettled), UNHCR, IOM said… It would be better to make loud sound in your music system and put headset then to listen what selfnominated leaders says… Never forget that UNHCR is the only well wisher of REFUGEE around the GLOBE…

In fact bhutanese refusees are nepalese. The history clearly says that they were taken to bhutan with the permission of Nepalese authority at that time. They did not go themself. It is something like nepalese people are sent to british army and they settle in britain. So it is the responsibility of nepal government to lookafter them.
the population of nepal is almost 3.5 million. they are about 1.5 lakh. So we should be able to manage them in our country. We must talk to the bhutanese authority to remburse their property and they should be able to stay in nepal as first class nepalese citizen. can you imagine if your family was taken to bhutan and same thing happened to you…what would you feel ??????? this is just a matter of time that these people were taken 200 years ago but now nepalese people are going to foreign country for employment. If something happened to them who is going to take responsibility ..some years ago 12 nepalese people were killed in Iraq…. nepal government could not do any thing. bhutanese refugees are the blood of nepal. wherever they go, they speak nepali language. they still love to say they are nepalese and are proud to wear dhaka topi.

Everything you broadcast about our past is true but I refuse with the fragmantation of Refugee in different countries.though we are nepal orginated bhutanese ,we are sorry for the present status of NEPAL.This is the result for not helping the refugees back to thier country.Anyway we are happy to be in United states.Nepali Media be careful and donot spread the false news regarding third country settlement.Donot spread false news about refugees so that you guys have a publicity among people.

it is good to find and share the live and truth history of Bhutanese people in Bhutan and in Nepal as a refugee and that is partially done by the journalist..However,still Bhutanese refugee are confused and in dilemma about the real cause of eviction.Actually India government played a fundamental role to evict these 100,000 people from Bhutan. Nepali government and journalists should be bold and assertive to find the truthfulness of this problem.What is Bhutan government said and saying about the Bhutanese refugee? is the main thing to be listen carefully and right after to find one more answer of why Bhutanese government is saying like that.and puspa g read the history,,,, find the meaning of Nepali in dictionary,,,

Let’s catch what the point was?…If we could listen the news again and try to understand the intension of so called leader TN, what he was trying to do by giving the nonsense letter to the King of Nepal during his visit to Bhutan…will that be the way for him to stand for people holding such a big position.
Now think that you were the King of Bhutan, what you would have done.
It might be true that Bhutan Government was feeling threat from Nepal origin people so early after they saw what happen in some states of India, but we should not forget that Bhutan Government take cruel action upon Nepal origin people only after BPP was founded against Bhutan Government.
Why BBP bombed and burn public schools Bhutan.
When did TN enter Bhutan…??? We have to go back and see his real biography.
What he and so called other leaders was able to do for 2 decades?
I think that only the option for Bhutan Government has at that time to save and keep the country peace and developing is to chase out those nonsense people, while sadly lot of innocent people have to become victim of that.

Thanks everyone for your possitive comments. I am in Canada and still I love to say I am a Nepalese. But when I recall my past, it hurts me. I was teacher and even high school principal in Nepal for about 20 years. I had leave several schools being forced to do so blaming as non national. Many parties and local level youths were the causative agents. Now I have name, fame, citizenship, all the rights and security. Now I felt these are the countries where we deserve to live with a head held high, not Nepal.
Anyway thanks to those friends and other Nepalese for your friendliness and helpful behaviour.
